Block Size
How much transaction data a block carries.
Block size measures the block body, which is the transactions. The header is a fixed 80 bytes whether the block is full or empty, so size is effectively a statement about the body alone.
Size and difficulty are unrelated. A full block takes exactly the same mining work as an empty one; what a fuller block adds is transaction fees, which raise the block reward.
