BlockDAG
A blockchain structure that allows parallel blocks.
A BlockDAG (directed acyclic graph of blocks) lets several blocks exist at once instead of a single strict chain, then orders them by rules. This can allow much faster block rates.
Coins like Kaspa and Xelis use a BlockDAG design to reach high throughput while still resolving which blocks count.
