Bull Market
A sustained period of rising prices.
A bull market is a long stretch of rising prices and optimism. Mining income rises with the coin price even at constant hashrate, which historically pulls new miners in and pushes network difficulty up.
That difficulty lag is why early bull-market mining is often the most profitable: price has moved but difficulty has not caught up yet.
