Cloud mining means paying a company for a mining contract: they claim to run the hardware, you receive the proceeds. You never see or control the machines.
The sector has a long history of scams and unprofitable contracts. Renting real, verifiable hashpower or machines (see the rental articles in the help center) keeps you in control; a contract you cannot verify deserves deep skepticism.
