DAG
A graph structure with no cycles; in crypto, chains that allow parallel blocks.
A DAG (directed acyclic graph) is a structure where links flow one way and never loop. In crypto it appears in two places: BlockDAG chains (like Kaspa or Xelis) that allow parallel blocks, and the "DAG file" some mining algorithms build in GPU memory.
The two uses are unrelated; when a mining guide says your GPU "generates the DAG", it means the algorithm's memory dataset, not the chain structure.
