DApp
An application whose backend runs on a blockchain.
A DApp (decentralized application) is an application whose core logic runs as smart contracts on a blockchain instead of on a company's servers, typically with a normal web frontend.
DApps live mostly on smart-contract chains. Mining-focused chains like Pearl interact with this world through exchanges and bridges rather than hosting DApps themselves.
