Effort
A luck meter comparing work spent to work expected.
Effort compares the work a pool spent finding a block against what difficulty said it should take. Under 100% means the block came early (lucky); over 100% means late (unlucky).
Single blocks swing widely, but across many blocks effort averages toward 100%. It is a fairness meter, not a dial you can turn.
