Hardware Wallet

A physical device that stores your keys offline.

A hardware wallet is a small physical device that keeps your private keys offline and signs transactions internally, so the keys never touch an internet-connected computer.

It is one of the safest ways to hold coins long term. For mining you never load keys into the pool, so payouts can go straight to an address held on one.
