Listing
An exchange adding a coin for trading (delisting removes it).
A listing is an exchange adding a coin to its markets; a delisting removes it. Listings expand where a coin can be sold and usually deepen its liquidity.
Newly mined coins typically start on smaller exchanges and grow onto larger ones. A market aggregator page for the coin shows its current listings; check it rather than assuming.
