Orphan Block
A valid block that lost the race and pays nothing.
An orphan block (or stale block) is a valid block that was found at nearly the same time as another and lost the race to be on the main chain. It pays nothing because it never became part of accepted history.
Orphans happen on every chain and to every pool. This pool marks them and excludes them from your confirmed block count automatically.
