Staking Pool
Pooled coins earning proof-of-stake rewards together.
A staking pool combines many holders' coins so they jointly earn proof-of-stake validation rewards, the PoS cousin of a mining pool.
The mechanics rhyme with mining pools (pooled resources, proportional rewards, operator fee) but the resource is capital instead of computation. Proof-of-work coins like Pearl have mining pools, not staking pools.
