Token
A digital asset issued on top of a blockchain.
A token is a digital asset created on an existing blockchain, often through a smart contract, rather than being the chain's own native coin. Tokens can represent currencies, assets or access rights.
A native coin like Pearl is different: it is the blockchain's own unit, produced by mining, not issued as a token on another chain.
